Mivella wicker log basket for fireplace TheWickerStories

Dark brown wicker basket with handles for firewood is a sturdy, functional home accessory designed for everyday use by the fireplace. A tight, even weave creates a stable, rounded form that looks good on the floor and sits naturally in the hearth area. The dark wicker color emphasizes the basket’s raw, authentic character and pairs well with classic, rustic and contemporary interiors.

The basket is hand-woven from European wicker – a renewable and biodegradable material. Its surface is finished in a fashionable brown shade using safe, certified paints. The artisanal weaving technique ensures high durability, load resistance and neatly finished edges. This is a basket made to handle heavy materials like firewood, manufactured without plastic and with clear attention to quality.

Thanks to the comfortable handles, the basket is easy to carry and place near the fireplace. Its generous dimensions – 75×60 H: 35/41 (cm) – allow you to store enough wood for regular use without frequent refilling. The basket’s shape makes quick access to logs easy and helps keep the heating area tidy.

The basket’s primary purpose is storing firewood in the living room, by the fireplace or stove. The wicker’s breathable structure supports air circulation, which is important when storing wood. Outside the heating season the basket can be used for storing nuts, retaining its functionality and natural character. The basket is easy to maintain – for daily care simply wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth.
