Mivella wicker log basket for fireplace TheWickerStories

Dark brown wicker basket with handles for firewood is a sturdy and functional home accessory designed for everyday use by the fireplace. A dense, even weave creates a stable, rounded form that looks good on the floor and fits naturally into the hearth area. The dark wicker color highlights the basket’s raw, authentic character and pairs well with classic, rustic and modern interiors.

The basket is hand-woven from European willow — a renewable, biodegradable raw material. Its surface is finished in a fashionable brown tone using safe, certified paints. The artisanal weaving technique ensures high durability, load resistance and carefully finished edges. This basket is made to handle heavy material such as firewood, produced without plastic and with clear attention to quality.

Thanks to the comfortable handles, the basket is easy to carry and place near the fireplace. Its dimensions – 52×43 H:30 (cm) – allow it to hold a supply of wood for everyday burning without frequent refilling. The basket’s shape provides quick access to logs and helps keep the heating area tidy.

The main intended use of the basket is storing firewood in the living room, beside the fireplace or stove. The breathable wicker structure promotes air circulation, which is important for storing wood. Out of the heating season the basket can be used for storing nuts, maintaining its functionality and natural character. The basket is easy to maintain — for daily care simply wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
