Pallium wooden sheep with lamb – children’s toy, sew-on accessory TheWickerStories

The Sheep and Lamb is a creative wooden lacing toy for children that combines hands-on play with the development of cognitive skills. The set includes a large sheep and a small lamb through whose holes a child can weave colorful cords to create their own patterns and compositions. This form of activity stimulates imagination, encourages experimenting with arrangements, and allows practicing precision during calm, creative play. The product is intended for children aged 3 and up.

Threading the cords supports fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination and finger dexterity. The child learns accuracy, patience and concentration while performing each move. This type of activity also develops logical thinking as the child plans the next passes of the cord and watches the emerging patterns.

The model is distinguished by a minimalist, nature‑inspired design and friendly animal shapes. The gentle color palette has a calming effect and fosters quiet, focused activity. The simple form means the set pairs well with other creative toys and items in educational collections. Dimensions: large sheep –  13×1 H:9 (cm), small sheep – 7.5×1 H:5 (cm).

The product is made in Europe from certified Polish wood sourced from the Karkonosze region, harvested in line with sustainable forestry principles. High‑quality beech and sycamore wood were used in production, valued for durability and resistance to intensive use. The surfaces are coated with certified, non‑toxic paints based on natural ingredients, meeting European safety standard EN71 and U.S. requirements. It is also an eco‑friendly toy made from natural materials, a more environmentally friendly alternative to many plastic products on the market.

Give a child a creative lacing toy that develops manual skills, sparks imagination and turns precision practice into joyful play.
